Adele Ungguli Anugerah Grammy ke-59
Seperti yang dijangkakan, Adele mengungguli kemenangan di Anugerah Grammy 2017 dengan membawa pulang 3 anugerah utama; Record of the Year (Hello), Album of the Year (25) dan juga Song of the Year (Hello)
Adele bagaimanapun merasakan anugerah Album of the Year sepatutnya diberikan kepada Beyoncé dan bukan kepadanya.
"Saya tidak mungkin dapat menerima anugerah ini" ujarnya sewaktu menyampaikan ucapan ketika menerima anugerah tersebut.
"Terima kasih untuk (penghargaan) ini," ucap Adele.
"Saya sangat gugup, saya tidak sangka akan mendapatkan penghargaan ini," ucapnya lagi
Selain dari itu, Adele turut meraih kemenangan berganda apabila turut memenangi anugerah Best Pop Solo Performance (Hello), serta Best Pop Vocal Album (25).
Sementara itu, pendatang baru Chance the Rapper buat pertama kali memenangi dua anugerah Grammy untuk kategori Best New Artist dan Best Rap Performance. Beliau menerima 7 pencalonan untuk anugerah edisi ini.
Dihos kan oleh James Corden, Anugerah Grammy edisi ke 59 ini, berlansung di Staples Centre, Los Angeles, semalam mempertontonkan pesembahan hebat oleh nama nama besar dalam industri musik Amerika seperti Adele, Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood, Ed Sheeran dan Bruno Mars.
Turut mendapat perhatian adalahpersembahan oleh Beyoncé yang memukau walaupun sedang sarat berbadan dua.
