UNIQLO Announces HANA TAJIMA FOR UNIQLO 2018 Spring/Summer Collection
UNIQLO today announces that it will launch the HANA TAJIMA FOR UNIQLO 2018 Spring/Summer collection from Friday, February 23. This is the sixth season for the women’s line, which debuted in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand in fall winter 2015 and is available in 15 countries and regions.
LifeWear is the UNIQLO commitment to creating high quality, functional and affordable clothing that meets the needs of everyone’s daily lifestyles. New York-based, British-born Hana Tajima created this exclusive LifeWear collection, featuring elegantly simplistic yet considered pieces, offering comfortable, versatile clothing for all women of all backgrounds, regardless of age, race, culture of belief.
Commenting on today’s announcement, Ms. Tajima notes that, "For this season I wanted to create a collection that would celebrate the idea of femininity, not the prescribed idea, but instead finding the strength and grace that exists in all women. These pieces are meant to be lived in, to adapt to different bodies and styles, and be versatile enough to take you through the day and through the season.”
Incorporating orange and mustard hues that are in-trend for Spring/Summer 2018, this season’s collection has a wide range of color variations, making it easier to style with other UNIQLO items. Featuring pieces made of natural linen, a LifeWear essential that combines softness with refreshing comfort, each and every garment has been designed with a keen eye for detail to create timeless essentials that offer a variety of styling arrangements. Furthermore, in response to customer requests, the dresses have been updated this season to include two length options for its global markets.
